Putting people and health first

Every mouthful we eat has the power to transform how we feel: from brain fog to brain fuel; from afternoon slump to raring-to-go. Eating the right food at the right time protects our long-term health, happiness and longevity, which is why nutrition is such a powerful tool for improving employee wellbeing. But too often, it’s overlooked by teams and employers, leaving workplace health in crisis.

Our mission is to partner with employers to bring the transformative power of nutrition-first food to teams across London, through flavourful, energising meals and inspiring education. Because when teams eat well, everyone wins: starting day by day, and lasting a lifetime.

Workplace health is in crisis

WHY WORKPLACE NUTRITION MATTERS

We’re here to put workplace nutrition back on the agenda. Whether it’s every day communal lunches or one-off catering for an annual conference, we work with nutritionists to design meals that help your teams:

  • Feel energised throughout the day, ready to perform at their best

  • Build long-term health and reduce illnesses

  • Enhance mental and physical health, in and outside of the office

  • Come together around the power of nourishing food

Every year, the number of employees out of work due to both physical and mental ill health is increasing, with a peak of 28.2 million in 2024. In 2023/24, over 33.7 million working days were lost to work-related ill health (LFS, 2025). Nutrition is the first port of call to solve the crisis: good food nourishes both mind and body, helping teams thrive in and out of the office. So why do so many employers fail to prioritise it?

Together with our clients, we’re making nutrition the cornerstone of workplace wellbeing.

Health-First Menu Design

Every mouthful has a purpose, and is designed to bring out the best in your team. Whether it’s protein-rich birchers to chia pots to start the day right, or balanced lunches that pack flavour and keeps you going all afternoon, we see every menu as an opportunity to help people feel and work better.

The Best Ingredients

We seek out the highest quality ingredients, seeking out the most ethical suppliers. Organic, seasonal fruit and vegetables pair with sustainably farmed, ethically sourced proteins. You can explore our nutrition promises below, designed with our lead nutritionist, so you know you can trust each and every meal.

The Pow Food Nutritional Promises

Over many years, and with the support of our in-house nutritionist, we have developed nutritional promises that guide how we cook. They are our food philosophy, bringing together our commitments to nutrition-first food that respects and supports nature.

Organic First

Organic comes first in our kitchen - for dairy, fruit, vegetables, grains and pulses. Choosing organic means no synthetic fertilisers, no pesticides, no unnatural processes. It's kinder to nature, better for our health, and the flavour speaks for itself. We pay especially close attention to the Dirty Dozen, the produce known to carry the highest pesticide loads, and wash everything in a bicarbonate of soda solution, shown to remove up to 98% of surface pesticide residues.

Signature Oils

Healthy fats are central to our ethos. For cooking, we use a signature organic blend of organic avocado and light olive oil, chosen for its high smoke point and reduced free radical release. Salads and chilled dishes are dressed with cold-pressed, organic oils. We never use solvent-extracted seed or vegetable oils.

Balanced Nutrition

Each one of our menus is nutritionally designed by our nutritionists and freshly prepared by our chefs to deliver sustained energy and support cognitive performance throughout the day.
We use a balance of slow-release, unrefined carbohydrates, lean and high-grade proteins, healthy fats, and fibre in every dish, ensuring each meal contributes to long-term wellbeing, focus, and productivity.

Ethically Reared Meat

All of our meat is ethically reared, working closely with our suppliers, Sutton Hoo, Ethical Butcher and Rare Breed’s. The welfare of our animals has a direct influence on the quality, health and flavour of our food - and that’s what we stand for.

Sustainable Local Fish

Sourcing sustainable fish is an industry-wide challenge. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and currently only source local fish from British oceans and rivers through Chapman’s fisheries, and use only responsibly sourced prawns. We work closely with the seasons to minimise impact and prioritise health and flavour.

Natural Sugars

No refined sugars are allowed in our kitchens.

If it’s not naturally sweet enough, we use unrefined organic honey, maple syrup, rapadura or dates for their rich mineral content, and combine options with fibre to reduce blood sugar spikes.

Our Suppliers

We work with a carefully curated network of leading UK producers and specialist suppliers, prioritising organic and ethically sourced ingredients. Our partners, from trusted farms and fisheries to artisan producers - share our commitment to sustainability, quality and full transparency.

This network enables us to source exceptional ingredients while maintaining rigorous traceability and responsible sourcing across everything we create. Today, over 75% of the ingredients we use daily are organic, a figure we continue to grow as we deepen our relationships with values-led suppliers.
